New Arrivals

Some of our new arrivals will be available for adoption after they have been evaluated by a veterinarian and a trainer.  Others will remain as permanent residents.

Bucky, a quarter horse gelding, arrived on May 20th 2011.  This picture was taken on the day of his arrival.  Helping him and his pasture mate, Dixie, will require several months of rehabilitation and much veterinarian care.  Any donations toward the cost of their recovery will be greatly appreciated.

Dixie, a quarter horse mare, arrived with Bucky on May 20, 2011.  As you can see in the picture taken the day of her arrival she is emaciated and her recovery will take many months.  If you wish to help with her care all money earmarked for her will go toward her expenses.

Bebe, a miniature horse or pony has come to live her remaining years at AES.  Her former owner is moving out of the country and could not take Bebe with her.  Bebe worked many years in a carnival giving children pony rides before becoming a pet and companion.  She will be used in the educational program at AES
